This is a view on the other side of the hill, down into Escondido and Harmony Grove. It was quite a climb!

Elfin Forest Hike

Today we took advantage of the cooler weather to hike up to Olivenhain reservoir from Harmony Grove Rd. It is quite a climb and I was impressed that the kids ran most of the way up the hill.

Getting them back down, on the other hand, was quite laborious. The view from up here was great and it was a perfect day to enjoy the outdoors.
